Another point of view?

So, soon enough I’ll be tied down to the class-home routine. I am looking forward to it, especially meeting everyone back. Not to see how much they have changed, but rather to show people how much I’ve changed. The holidays have been somewhat therapeutical?
I was talking to a friend and was telling him how much I feel for those who have to retake certain papers. He stopped me right there and said :
“Don’t feel bad for them. Ideally we’re suppose to prepare ourselves before 3rd year i.e study during the holidays which we all know is pretty impossible to do. They would have had better grasps of basic science way better than us in year 3. Passing year 2 doesn’t mean we’re capable enough to go through year 3, it just mean we have enough to begin, doesn’t mean we can make it. And if that’s the case, those retaking papers stand a much better chance than us.”
What we fail to understand is God’s work behind all our sorrows. Maybe if we were to view things in a much more positive way, lift up our burden and surrender, maybe life’s lesson would be a brief?
Saying it is not as easy as doing it. I’ve failed to follow my advices way more than the number of times I’ve actually followed them. Oh well. =/
